A woman and a child are fighting for their lives follow

ttack in Hereford in the early hours of the mornin
olice have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder. Armed police swooped on a house in Hunderton Avenue, Hereford, at 3.10am after receiving a 999 call.
A woman in her 30s and a child were found with serious injuries and rushed to hospital where they remain in a critical condition. No further details are available about the extent of their injuries.
